Presets for Fors Synths

Hey again everyone.

Recently I discovered Fors and some of the stuff they've made, sadly as I don't use Ableton Live I have no use for their Max for Live devices, but it seems like they are transitioning into making more native plugins and should be releasing more of them in the future. I look forward to it.

Back on the topic, I really enjoy their quite minimalistic design and very pleasant looking UI, although they are certainly not the most powerful synths out there, sometimes it feels refreshing to just have something that is easy to tweak and work with. Of course, there are other times when you'd prefer a full workhorse synth that can basically do anything, like perhaps Falcon or Phase Plant, but these days I find it sometimes easier to get things done with simpler tools, because occasionally having too many options may actually slow you down.

Their free reverb, Sala, is pretty nice too, however I don't have too much to say about it. It's just a basic and simple reverb that you can grab and use for free, and I think excels at larger sizes.

I made some presets for two of their synths, Junior and Pivot, and decided to share them publicly. You can find the ones for Junior here, and the ones for Pivot here.

Junior is a synth modeled after retro video game sounds and is excellent at doing just that, though I'd say it can certainly do much more as well. As for Pivot, well, it's an FM synth, and since I'm not that great with FM overall I can't say too much about it. Both of these are more on the simpler side of things, but I think there's nothing wrong with that, since it makes them easy to understand and use. Honestly, I'd even say that Pivot is an excellent FM synth for beginners, since it's far easier and simpler to use than many other full fledged FM synths out there, while still being powerful enough in a lot of cases.
